How do you recruit at UKTV?
UKTV recruits on merit only. A fair selection process is in place which means that with all applicants scored on specific criteria on ability and suitability for a job. If you are successful enough to secure an interview you will be contacted by a member of the UKTV Recruitment Team.
How do I apply to work at UKTV?
Please click on Check out our vacancies on our new careers site. You will be able to apply and register your interest in working for UKTV, search and read about our vacancies, submit your application and also manage your interview scheduling. To apply for a vacancy you will need to submit an application as well as upload your CV and answer our diversity questionare.
Please note that you may be contacted via recruitment@uktv.co.uk regarding the progress of your application. To ensure this communication doesn't go into your junk/ spam folder, please add us to your safe senders list when you apply.
If you do not have access to the internet then please send via post marked for the attention of the UKTV Recruitment Team at UKTV, 10 Hammersmith Grove, London, W6 7AP.
What will happen to my application?
If you have applied for a specific role, please be assured that your application will be considered through a fair and thorough selection process alongside other candidates. We aim to provide feedback within 15 days. If you do not hear from us within this timeframe, it means that your application has not been successful on this occasion. However, we will keep your details on file for future opportunities that may better match your skills and experience.
Should your application be successful, a member of the UKTV Recruitment Team will reach out to you to arrange an initial conversation. We look forward to potentially discussing your qualifications and career aspirations further.
What if I have access requirements?
UKTV has wheelchair access. Do let us know in advance if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to accommodate them for you.
Right to work check
You'll be asked to bring along documents to your interview which will indicate that you have the right to work in the UK. This is standard practice and is a requirement of the Home Office.
What should I wear to an interview?
The dress code is smart casual at UKTV. We want you to feel comfortable when you come in to see us, so if you want to wear a suit that is fine, but if you would feel more comfortable in your jeans then that's equally acceptable.
Do you offer work experience or work placement schemes at UKTV?
Unfortunately we have no requirements for either scheme at present. The UKTV recruitment team would be happy to keep your details on file should things change in the future.
